Experienced defender Eric Donkor has penned an emotional farwell to AshantiGold SC as he leaves the club following the expiration of his contract.
Donkor has been an instrumental member of the Gold and Black outfit since joining two years after parting with Asante Kotoko SC.
He featured in all 15 matches for the Obuasi based club in the 2019/2020 Ghana Premier League its cancellation due to the coronavirus outbreak.
Donkor says his failure to extend his stay with the Miners has nothing to do with higher demands, but feels it is time for him to continue the journey elsewhere.
