Phil Foden and Erling Haaland were quick to poke fun at rivals Manchester United after Manchester City were victorious in the derby on Sunday afternoon.
Pep Guardiola's side secured a 6-3 victory over United in the derby at the Etihad Stadium, with Haaland and Foden both scoring hat-tricks for the reigning Premier League champions.
Antony scored a stunning consolation goal for Erik ten Hag's men in the second period, before substitute Anthony Martial - who returned after being sidelined with an achilles injury - scored a brace towards the end of the clash.
City dominated proceedings, and will be frustrated with conceding three times. However, Guardiola's men were comfortable throughout the clash and closed the gap on league-leaders Arsenal to just one point.
Following the game, several City players took to Instagram to thank fans for their support and express their delight about the triumph over their rivals - with Foden and Haaland sending a very clear message.
Foden wrote: "What a day! So grateful to have got my first hat-trick for City and in the derby too! Wow - what a feeling! Manchester is blue".
Meanwhile, Norwegian striker Haaland stated: "Manchester is blue!"
Jack Grealish added: "Offfttt… What a day at the Etihad!! Manchester is BLUE".
A number of other City stars also posted on Instagram, with Ederson, Kevin De Bruyne, Ilkay Gundogan, Bernardo Silva, Ruben Dias Aymeric Laporte, Ederson and Sergio Gomez all sending messages.
