Ernest Sowah: "I can solve Hearts of Oak goalkeeping problems"

Ernest Sowah believes he has what it takes to solve Hearts of Oak's goalkeeping problems after joining the club on Wednesday.

The 30-year-old joined the Phobians on a two-and-a-half-year- deal on Wednesday as a free agent after mutually terminating his contract with Asante Kotoko fortnight ago.

The decision to acquire the services of the experienced custodian of the Accra-based giants’ management emerged after enduring goalkeeping challenges in the season - where they shipped in 13 goals in 11 games despite using all their registered first team goalkeepers.

In the wake of finalizing the contract with the Rainbow Club, Sowah categorically stated that he is aware of the goalkeeping crises that has befallen the club, but says he's poised to put an end to it.

"Hard work is all I know and will make sure i work harder to help my new club," Sowah declared on Oyerepa FM.

"I believe I can help solve the goalkeeping problem they are facing, I admit it’s the reason they came for me."

"I didn't take this decision alone; yes it was my choice as against other offers from AshantiGold and Aduana."

Sowah was asked if he encountered any tiff with Asante Kotoko before his abrupt departure.

"I have no problem with any one at Kotoko, I worked with them and that has come to an end for now,I am with Hearts of Oak and that's where am concentrating," he answered.
