Esperance ace Harrison Afful pats youngster Seidu Salifu for winning Tunisian League with Club Africain
Esperance star Harrison Afful has congratulated compatriot Seidu Salifu for winning this season’s Tunisian League with Club Africain.
The Reds were crowned champions on Tuesday afternoon with a 2-1 win at Esperance Sportive de Zarzis.
Salifu played 80 minutes in that final league match which was a fraction of the 26 games he started this term.
“He’s young and was at his best because I watched and played against him this season. He deserves all the praises and I wish him well,†Afful told GHANASoccernet.com.
“The Tunisian League is very difficult so I know what I’m talking about. I wish him all the best.â€
Afful had to settle for third place as Esperance finished five points behind the league leaders.
