Esperance de Lagos defender Edward Sarpong has signed a one-year contract extension which will keep at the Portuguese club until summer 2021.
The 23-year-old joined the Campeonato de Portugal Serie D side in 2019 from Portimonense.
The talented defender has been handed an improved contract after impressing heavily since joining.
Sarpong joined the Portuguese side Portimonense Futebol Clube after spending time at Spanish outfit Getafe.
He has previusly played for Ghanaian academy sides West African Football Academy and Uni Star Star Soccer Academy.
