Ghanaian midfielder Kwame Bonsu has begun recovery process after undergoing successful knee surgery, his club, Esperance confirmed on Thursday.
The former Asante Kotoko midfielder picked up the injury in training ahead of the league restart and had to undergo surgery.

The injury went well and he started his rehabilitation as he eyes a quick comeback to the pitch. The process is expected to last for six weeks.
Kwame Bonsu has been one of the key players for the club this season and is likely to recover in time for the league restart in August.
He played nine times before the league was suspended as a result of the coronavirus.
