Essien plays bit part in Chelsea's win over Hull

Ghana midfielder Michael Essien played some few minutes in Chelsea’s 2-0 win at Hull City on Saturday afternoon.

The 30-year-old who has been constantly linked with a move away from the Blues came on in the 90th minute for Brazilian youngster Ramires.

Chelsea had already secured the win with goals scored by Eden Hazard and Fernando Torres.

The win sees Chelsea move on top of the English Premier League with Arsenal and Manchester City playing later on.
