Despite his difficulties, the Argentina international showed moments of quality, including a good pass to Raheem Sterling in the first half and demonstrating composure on the ball.
Redknapp expressed sympathy for the 22-year-old midfielder, who had previously won the 2022 Qatar World Cup.
“I looked at Enzo in midfield and I will give him the benefit of the doubt, obviously because of the World Cup, but he just looks lost and I feel a bit sorry for him,” he said on Sky Sports Premier League.
