Mikel Arteta provides injury update ahead of Bournemouth clash

Ahead of the game, Mikel Arteta has provided team news update during a press conference on Friday.

“Declan [Rice] hasn’t trained yet. We have another session in an hour or two so we’ll have more news about him today. Gabriel [Martinelli] hasn’t trained & we want him back, we need him back, but at the moment he’s not available. Leandro [Trossard] – same situation. Bukayo [Saka] – same situation,” Arteta said.

“They’re all in the same pool. William [Saliba] as well had a knock, Fabio [Vieira] as well wasn’t involved in the last game, so we have to assess them today, see how they are & adapt to the situation because that’s a big number.”

The Gunners are currently 5th in the league table with 14 points, while the Cherries are 17th.
