Mikel Arteta provides worrying update on Gabriel Martinelli

Arsenal faced Everton in the Premier League on Sunday, September 17, 2023 and celebrated a 1-0 victory as Leandro Trossard scored the only goal.

Trossard started the game from bench and replaced Gabriel Martinelli at the 24th minute of the game as Martinelli suffered an injury.

Before Martinelli suffered the injury he opened the scoring for the Gunners, however, the goal was disallowed.

Speaking on the injury, Arteta said: “He felt something on one of the sprints, in his hammy.

“He will need to be assessed”.
