Leicester City superstar Jamie Vardy has stated that he cannot allow his performance levels to drop if he is to earn a place in England's Euro2016 squad.
Vardy has arguably been the best player in the Premier League this season and his 14 goals in as many appearances so far serve as a testament to this fact.
On current form, Vardy looks like a shoo-in to earn a place in the England national team for this coming summer's European Championships in France but the 28-year-old is not prepared to rest on his laurels.
"It is all down to me. If I let my performances drop, then that is giving a reason for me not to be involved," he said, speaking on talkSPORT's Hawksbee and Jacobs show.
"If I can keep the performances up for the rest of the season, then I am putting myself in with a good shout."
