Ghanaian youngster Claud Adjapong has been named in Sassuolo's squad to face Genk on Thursday in the final Europa League Group match.
The Neroverdi are already eliminated from the competition and that could hand a starting role for the 18-year-old.
Adjapong, born in Modena, has been a bit-part player for Sassuolo this term and made four league appearances.
Compatriot Alfred Duncan is nursing an injury and has been left out of the squad.
