Ghanaian duo Joseph Paintsil and Jospeh Aidoo were on target for Belgian side Genk who beat Sarpsborg 08 4-0 on Thursday night to finish top of Group I in the Europa League.

Winger Paintsil doubled Genk's lead on five minutes after Zinho Gano had opened the scoring in the second minute opener.

The former Tema Youth player had now scored two goals in Europe's second-tier inter-clubs competition.

His first in last month's 2-2 draw with Swedish giants Malmo.

Aidoo, former Ghana U20 captain, connected home for Genk's fourth goal in the 64th minute to register his first in Europe.

The centre back is developing in leaps and bounds since switching from Swedish side Hammarby IF.
