Ghana youth star Tawrick Djibril is set to join either Spanish outfit Getafe or Anderlecht of Belgium, according to his local agent.

The 18-year-old, who quit 2000 African Champions Hearts of Oak last month as a free agent, has also been linked with local giants Asante Kotoko.

But both parties have failed to reach an agreement after Kotoko could meet his asking price of 70,000 Ghana cedis.

But his agent Prince Omar now claims, the two European sides have enquired about his availability.

"Yes it is true and I can say that the letter from Getafe is already in and we're studying it but let see how it goes in the coming days," Omar said.

"We’ll not be rushed in making any unwise decision for the player. His interest is paramount and that will be key when deciding where he plays next."

The Ghana Under-20 player is eager for more playing time to enable him play at next year's African Youth Championship in Libya.
