English side Everton are interested in signing Ghanaian whiz kid Christian Atsu Twasam.

Manager David Moyes is believed to be a huge admirer of the talented 20-year-old and has watched him in recent weeks.

Atsu, on loan from giants Porto, played a pivotal role in Rio Ave’s survival this season.

He was named the club’s Player of the season after scoring six goals in 26 appearances.

He has two years left on his contract but says he's unsure of his future.

"I honestly don't know what will happen when I return," Atsu said.

"Hopefully these goals and games I've played will help my case."

Despite the reported interest from Everton, Atsu must meet the stringent work permit rules which would enable him play in England.

As it stands now the midfielder does not qualify as he has not played 75% of Black Stars matches over the past two years.
