Everton to receive offer 'pretty soon' for Jordan Pickford and more Manchester United transfer rumours

Everton and England goalkeeper Jordan Pickford is expected to be the subject of a Manchester United bid 'pretty soon', according to reports.

As reported by the Telegraph, the Reds are considering a move for Pickford as boss Erik ten Hag continues to search for a new first choice shot-stopper, with the club currently deciding whether to extend David de Gea's contract at Old Trafford.

Transfer journalist Dean Jones also believes that United will look to sign the 28-year-old, suggesting that the goalkeeper could be forced to contemplate his future if Everton remain at the wrong end of the Premier League table.

"It’s a tough one because I genuinely don’t think there are many clubs he would want to leave Everton for. But if they continue at the bottom end of the Premier League, he’s going to have to consider it," Jones told GiveMeSport.

"Is he the type of goalkeeper that ten Hag ideally wants? We will have to wait and see. But I do think we’re entering a time when Everton probably will get an offer pretty soon."

Elsewhere, Il Mattino, via Napoli Magazine, are reporting that United have drawn up a plan to sign Napoli defender Kim Min-jae in 2023.

The report claims that the Reds could benefit from a clause in Kim's contract with the Italian outfit that allows foreign clubs to sign the defender next summer for €50m (£44m).

Kim, who signed for Napoli from Fenerbahce in the summer, has made nine apperances for Napoli so far this season, recording two goals from centre-back. He has helped Luciano Spalletti's side to climb to the top of the table.
