Former Hearts of Oak coach Kim Grant, says the club has become attractive to players because of his hard work.

Grant joined Hearts of Oak in December 1, 2018 from Ghana Premier League side Elmina Sharks as head coach and Director of Football.

The UEFA License A coach showed glimpses of his coaching experience during the Normalisation Special Competition as he guided the Phobians to the semi-finals of the competition. Hearts of Oak lost to their bitterest rival Asante Kotoko through penalty shoot-out in that game.

Grant won the hearts of Hearts of Oak fans during the Normalisation period with his decent run of results during pre-season.

"The fantastic job I did at Hearts Of Oak GH made the club attractive and that why every player wants to play for the club". - Kim Grant told Sikka fm on making Hearts of Oak attractive and competitive.

He will also be remembered for the introduction and promotion of players from the junior sides to the senior team.

He was sacked in December 2019 after his first game in the 2019/20 Ghana Premier League against Berekum Chelsea ended in a defeat at the Accra Sports Stadium.
