Ex-Barca & Milan sporting director: Barca will do everything to sign Lautaro

Former Barcelona and AC Milan sporting director Ariedo Braida has shared his belief that Barcelona will try and sign Lautaro Martinez from Inter at all costs.

The 22-year-old striker is widely reported to be the La Liga giants number one transfer target ahead of the Summer transfer window.

Lautaro Martinez has a €111 million release clause in his current contract with Inter but it has been reported that Barcelona are looking to do a players plus cash deal for the Argentine national team forward.

One recent report has even suggested that Inter have knocked back an offer of €70 million plus Arturo Vidal and Nelson Semedo for him.

“I think Barcelona will do everything possible to get him. The current crisis could change things but I do not think it will. Lautaro is the kind of player that Barcelona likes but also the press and the players,” Braida remarked in an interview with Italian radio station Radio Sportiva earlier on today.

This season Lautaro has made 31 appearances across all competitions to date. In just over 2400 minutes on the park, the former Racing Club player has scored 16 goals and has provided four assists for his Nerazzurri teammates.
