Ghana midfielder Michael Essien continues to receive love from fans of Greek side Panathinaikos after several came close to him for  selfies during a short trip across Greece for preseason.
Essien signed a lucrative contract with the Greek giants that has made him the highest paid footballer in Greece.
The former Chelsea and Real Madrid man was mobbed my fans at the airport as his new side flew out for preseason.
Despite having some renowned names Essien has been the talk of the town since moving to Greece and is expected to generate and attract more stars to the Greek league.
