FC U Craiova manager Adrain Mutu has heaped praises on Ghanaian midfielder Samuel Asamoah describing him as one of the best in Romania.
The former Sint Truiden player return from injury to feature for FC U Craiova in their defeat to rivals Universitatea Craiova on Sunday, October 3, 2021.
Asamoah was in top form and is expected to play a key role in FC U Craiova's survival.
"It was not the most successful transfer period," said Mutu after the defeat.
"Asamoah had not played since December, but at the moment he is one of the best midfielders in Romania. All the big teams in Romania ask me what is the matter with Asamoah," he added.
The Ghanaian midfielder has made ten appearances so far and he is yet to score for the club.
