Ex-Ghana star Ahinful open to Kotoko coaching job

Ex-Ghana striker Augustine Ahinful says he has not been approached by Asante Kotoko for a coaching job but will not rule himself out. 

Reports were rife the 1996 Olympian is been touted to assist Mas-Ud Didi Dramani at Kotoko when Maxwell Konadu finally departs.

Ahinful told Sunyani-based Storm FM: "I have also heard the rumours and nobody from Kotoko has approached me on that for now so I wouldn’t be able to know how it goes".

"I am not attached to any club now so when they (Kotoko) talk to me and things goes on successfully then I will avail myself as it is."

Arhinful played for AshantiGold before leaving abroad in 1993 where he played for a host of clubs including Boavista and Trabzonspor.
