Former Black Stars captain Emmanuel Quarshie has died, GHANAsoccernet.com can confirm

Th ex-Zamalek star passed away at his home on Monday.

Quarshie had been battling  with Pakinson for many years and gave up the ghost at his residence today.

Quarshie was a key member for Zamaleks during the team’s glory days in the 19880s.

The former Hasaacas player won several titles with the Cairo giants  including their first CAF Champions League crown in 1984.

He also captained the Black Stars to win their last African title in 1982 in Libya but was shockinghly left to his fate until officials of his Zamalek arrived in the country to salvage the situation.
