Former Ghana international Mohammed Polo has reiterated his desire to land the Black Stars coaching job, firing a shade at Kwesi Appiah.

The Black Stars coaching job became vacant after the Ghana Football Association dissolved all national teams technical bench on last Tuesday.

This saw Kwesi Appiah and all other national team coaches lose their jobs following the unexpected decision by the new FA.

Several coaches have been linked with the position but Mohammed Polo believes he is the right man to turn their fortunes of the West Africa force.

“I'm ready for the job and I have few names that I will appoint as my assistant coach,” Polo stated on Happy FM.

The former Hearts of Oak ace deduced by taking a aim at Kwesi Appiah — insinuating that despite taking a fat salary during his tenure, he did nothing to improve the team.

“Some of us worship football & are ready to do whatever it takes to bring victory to the nation unlike others who have been given houses and they can’t deliver.”
