Former Ghana midfielder Sulley Muntari was present at the Accra Sports Stadium as Hearts of Oak annihilated Great Olympics 4-0 in the Mantse derby on Wednesday night.

Hearts of Oak were ruthless against their bitterest rivals in Week 14 of the Ghana Premier League at the Accra Sports Stadium.

Joseph Esso silenced their noisy neighbours with a simple goal in the 16th minute.

A brace from midfielder Benjamin Afutu in the 64th and 67th looked to have ended the game before Daniel Afriyie completed the rout in the 92nd minute.

Ex-Ghana midfielder Sulley Muntari was pictured in the VIP stand cheering on the Rainbow Club as they wallop their opponents.

The unattached midfielder trained with the 20-time league champions for two weeks at their former Legon Ajax Park.

The former Portsmouth and AC Milan enforcer has since been following the progress of the team.

He left Spanish side Albacete Balompie in 2019 following the expiration of his short deal.

Muntari, who represented Ghana at three successive Fifa World Cup tournaments between 2006 and 2014, played for Liberty Professionals during his time on the domestic scene.
