Ex-Ghana duo Yaw Preko and Yaw Acheampong are expected to undertake a UEFA license coaching course in Germany.

The Ghana Football Association wants to enhance these ex-internationals who have decided to work in football as coaches.

The course will start from 4 April-just three days after the completion of the 2011 African Youth Championship.

''We learn in this wok all the time and the experience of learning in Europe is different from Africa and we’re hopeful we’ll get the needed skills that will take us to higher height in this career,'' Preko, Ghana Under-20 assistant coach revealed.

''We are grateful to the Ghana Football Association and we can't ask for more. As far I’m concerned, I’m taking it step by step. The whole idea is coach the Black Stars in future and its imperative I take it slowly and gradually’.

The Ghana Football Federation has in the past funded the Uefa license certificate programme of Black Stars assistant coach Akwesi Appiah.
