Ex-Ghana striker Kim Grant held a meeting with Ghana’s ambassador to the Czech Republic Zita Okaikoi to share footballing ideas and way forward for the game in the country.

The former Charlton Athletic player was among the 28 persons who applied for the job after the dismissal of Kwesi Appiah.

But unconfirmed reports by the local media say he did not make the cut for shortlisted coaches.

“I had a meeting with Grant for over an hour just to discuss footballing matters and he was so passionate about the game in Ghana,” Ambassador Okaikoi told GHANASoccernet.com

“I never knew he based here in Czech but I was really happy to meet him and hopefully we can continue to keep in touch for future development of our country.”

Grant, 41, who holds a UEFA license B coaching certificate and remains open to any coaching position at the Ghana Football Association.
