Ex-Hearts board member Isaac Tetteh has criticized goalkeeper Abdoulaye Soulama for his ‘senseless’ yellow card in the side’s 1-0 win over Bechem United.

The 35-year-old, who returned from a four-game ban, attracted a yellow card for delay during the vital win over the Bechem-based side.

The action of the Burkinabe international has attracted criticism from the club’s former board member who lashed out at the player for his conduct.

“I think he (Soulama Abdoulaye) has not learnt any lesson. You just returned from a four-game ban and look at his conduct,” he said

“He missed the game against Kotoko due to his conduct and he is repeating the same thing.

“This yellow card that he received is senseless. Absolutely needless and uncalled for. He needs to understand that he cannot pick unnecessary cards which in the end affect the club.

“If I was in a position, he should be made to pay. But in the end Hearts will pay a fine for the card.”
