Former Hearts of Oak and King Faisal chief Vincent Sowah Odotei says he is no longer interested in becoming the President of the Ghana FA.

Odotei was disqualified from the Presidential race against incumbent Kwesi Nyantakyi four years ago.

The former Chief Executive of Hearts of Oak and King Faisal has since been an ardent critique of the current administration.

And with a year towards another Presidential election of the GFA, the marketing expert considers running for the top post a ‘waste to his youth’.

“I am no more interested in being the Ghana FA President, I don’t want to waste my youth,” he said.

Some however believe Odotei is chickening out of the race due to his doubtful popularity within football circles.

He however says football administration in Ghana is full of cronyism.

“When I first said football administration in Ghana was like the animal farm, that has not changed,” he adds.

“People are afraid to speak their minds for fear of being sidelined or marginalized.

“So why would I want to be go and lead such a bunch?”
