Former Asante Kotoko centre-back Habib Mohammed reportedly signed a three-year deal with Sekhukhune United in South Africa.

Mohammed has joined the top-flight side from Dreams FC, a club he joined at the beginning of the 2021/22 season.

According to the report, Habib accompanied by agent Yussif Chibsah arrived in South Africa to complete the deal, becoming the fourth player to be signed by Sekhukhune this window.

The Sunyani-born started his career at lower-tier side Allah Koso FC before he moved to Aston Villa FC and later joined a Division One League side, Bofoakwa Tano.

Habib moved to AshantiGold in 2017 and ended up at Asante Kotoko two years later. He parted ways with Kotoko when his contract expired, and signed a short-term deal with Dreams.
