Ex-Monaco chief Campos in frame for Valencia post

Published on: 01 December 2015

Former AS Monaco sports chief Luis Campos is in line for a move to Valencia.

Campos is close to super agent Jorge Mendes, who is working closely with Los Che owner Peter Lim.

AS says Campos stepped down as technical director in the summer after disagreements over certain decisions at the Stade Louis II, but stayed to work alongside Vice-President Vadim Vasilyev in an advisory capacity.

Nuno, who resigned as coach of Valencia, did not work with a sporting director and owner Lim is now seeking to install a more modern framework at the football club.
