Former Nsoatreman FC General Manager, Eric Alagidede, has defended his ex-boss, Hon. Ignatius Baffour Awuah, against allegations linking him to the violent events at Nana Koramansah II Park.

The incident occurred during the Ghana Premier League match between Asante Kotoko and Nsoatreman FC, resulting in the fatal stabbing of an Asante Kotoko supporter, Francis Yaw Frimpong.

Alagidede described Awuah as a peaceful individual and a longtime Asante Kotoko supporter.

"He is passionate about football but would never incite violence. He has even contributed financially to Kotoko," Alagidede emphasized.

Awuah is currently under investigation, along with two other individuals, for allegedly instigating the attack. The case remains ongoing as authorities seek justice for the slain fan.
