Ex Zambia coach expecting tough Ghana encounter

Former Zambia coach Patrick Phiri expects the Chipolopolo to give Ghana a good for their money in the first semi final tie at the 2012 Africa Cup of Nations.

The Black Stars who have struggled to hit top form at the tournament will have to overcome a slick and skillful Zambian side on Wednesday in Bata to keep their dreams of a fifth African title after 30-years alive.

But Phiri says it will not come on a silver platter especially with the ever improving Chipolopolo now a stumbling block.

"Obviously it will be a tough game because Ghana is one of the good teams in the tournament but the boys have proved to be ready for any team in the competition," Phiri said.

"We have a chance to win this game and proceed to the finals."
