GHANASoccernet.com understands that Aduana Stars have rejected an offer from Sudanese giants Al Hilal Omdurman for Stephen Adams.

According to sources at the Dormaa-based, the figures quoted were below the asking prince for the current Ghana first choice goalkeeper.

“There has been a contact from a club in Sudan but my brother truth be told Adams himself is not so keen on moving to Sudan,” a club source told GHANASoccernet.com

“We have had some disagreement concerning the figures but I have to say the player himself is not so keen on the move.

“At this point all we can say is that he remains our player and we continue to look for what is best for both the team and the player.”

Adams, the only home-based player to make Ghana’s squad for the 2014 FIFA World Cup finals, has seen his stock risen after three matches in the 2015 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers.

He was by far Ghana’s best player in the 2014 CHAN tournament in South Africa.

Adams was named the best goalkeeper in the Ghana Premier League for the second time in his career.
