GHANASoccernet.com understands that Aduana Stars have rejected an offer from Sudanese giants Al Hilal Omdurman for Stephen Adams.
According to sources at the Dormaa-based, the figures quoted were below the asking prince for the current Ghana first choice goalkeeper.
ââ¬ÅThere has been a contact from a club in Sudan but my brother truth be told Adams himself is not so keen on moving to Sudan,â⬠a club source told GHANASoccernet.com
ââ¬ÅWe have had some disagreement concerning the figures but I have to say the player himself is not so keen on the move.
ââ¬ÅAt this point all we can say is that he remains our player and we continue to look for what is best for both the team and the player.ââ¬
Adams, the only home-based player to make Ghanaââ¬â¢s squad for the 2014 FIFA World Cup finals, has seen his stock risen after three matches in the 2015 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers.
He was by far Ghanaââ¬â¢s best player in the 2014 CHAN tournament in South Africa.
Adams was named the best goalkeeper in the Ghana Premier League for the second time in his career.
