Talented Ghanaian youngster Abdul Fatawu Issahaku is attracting interest from Italian serie A side Udinese, GHANASoccernet.com can exclusively report.

The AFCON U-20 star has popped up on the radar of several European clubs following his exploits at the competition which ended last month, with the Black Satellites emerging victorious.

Issahaku, who was named Most Valuable Player at the end of the tournament, is being monitored by the Italian side who enjoyed some success with the midfielder's coach at Steadfast FC Mohammed Gargo in the early 2000's.

GHANASoccernet.com can reveal the relationship between Udinese and Gargo is part of the reasons the Italian outfit are interested in signing the youngster.

Meanwhile, President of Steadfast FC, Hon. Haruna Iddrisu has confirmed interest from clubs in Europe for the teen sensation.

“We’ve had some offers from some major football clubs internationally. We are looking for some offers from Austria, Geneva, from Italy and from Qatar.” Mr. Iddrisu told Joy Sports.

“We are weighing what gives him the best opportunity and the club, the best returns tomorrow. More importantly, he has the opportunity to play and contribute to Ghana achieving some soccer laurels in terms of bringing gold to Ghana,” the Tamale South MP added.
