EXCLUSIVE! AshantiGold SC send SOS to Medeama SC for coach Samuel Boadu for Africa campaign

AshantiGold SC have approached Medeama SC coach Samuel Boadu to gauge his interest in coaching the club during their CAF Confederation Cup campaign.

Italian trainer Roberto Landi who was appointed coach of the Obuasi club in February 2020 has absconded following disagreements over unpaid entitlements.

GHANAsoccernet.com can confirm that AshantiGold have written to the Yellow and Mauves requesting for the services of Boadu.

Boadu is touted as one of the finest technical brains in Ghana following his outstanding exploits with Medeama.

Whether Medeama will accept AshantiGold's request or not remains unclear at the moment.

The 35-year-old is currently head coach of the Ghana U15 national team.

The four-time Ghana Premier League champions will be participating in the 2020/2021 CAF Confederation Cup which is scheduled to begin in November 2020.
