Ghanaian winger Kwabena Boye Schulz has completed a transfer to Austrian side Austria Klagenfurt in the ongoing market, GHANASoccernet.com can exclusively confirm.

Schulz joins the Austrian Bundesliga 2 side on a two-year deal from German lower-tier outfit Viktoria Berlin.

The versatile midfielder 21-year-old wideman was reported to be moving to Fortuna Dusseldorf in the ongoing window but has decided to join Wörthersee Stadion outfit instead.

Sporting Director of Austria Klagenfurt, Matthias Imhof announced the deal, claiming they have been following the progress of the Ghanaian for a while.

“We have been following his development closely for a long time and would have liked to bring him to Austria in winter. I am very happy that it has now worked, "says sports director Matthias Imhof, who is firmly convinced that Schulz will enrich the squad.

"Kwabe will take the next step with us. He has huge potential. We will support him so that he can access it."

Schulz played 15 times for Viktoria Berlin last season, registering just one assist.
