EXCLUSIVE: Besiktas and Kayserispor presidents meet in Baku to discuss Bernard Mensah's transfer

President of Besiktas Ahmet Nur Cebi and Berna Gozbasi of Kayserispor are having a meeting in the Azerbaijani capital of Baku to discuss the future of Ghanaian midfielder Bernard Mensah, GHANASoccernet.com can exclusively  

Mensah ended a successful loan spell at Besiktas in May, winning the league and cup double with the Black Eagles.

But his future remains in doubt as Kayserispor demand 3.5 million Euros for the midfielder.

GHANASoccernet.com can report that Besiktas want to exercise the purchase option in Mensah's contract but could also let some players move to Kayserispor as part of the deal.

The two presidents are also in Baku monitoring the ongoing Euro 2020.

Bernard Mensah made 31 appearances for Besiktas last season, scoring four times to secure his first-ever career double.

Early this year, the 26-year-old decided to call it a quit to his international career just to focus on club football.

He moved to Turkey in 2018 and has since played for Kasimpasa and Kayserispor.
