EXCLUSIVE: Bulgarian club Levski finally reach agreement to settle Nasiru Mohamemd's debt

Bulgarian club Levski Sofia have finally reached an agreement with Nasiru Mohammed to settle their debt, Ghanasoccernet.com can report.

The move is intended to keep Levski from facing a transfer ban after FIFA ruled in his favour.

Due to unpaid wages, the Ghanaian terminated his contract and reported the situation to FIFA, who ordered the club to compensate the player.

He recently received a portion of the money, with the club promising to pay the rest in instalments over a specified time period, which both parties agreed to.

Levski Sofia owe Nasiru over 300,000 euros.

Nasiru signed a three-year contract with Levski Sofia in 2019. He did, however, terminate the contract after two years due to the club's failure to honour the agreement.

Nasiru's outstanding signing-on fees and four months' salary were not paid by Levski. He complained to FIFA, who ordered Levski to pay Nasiru or risk a transfer ban.

He returned to Sweden club BK Hacken as a free agent in the summer but was unable to play due to injury, forcing the club to release him.

The 27-year-old is currently a free agent after being released by Hacken in January.
