Ghana striker Bernard Tekpetey has emerged on the radar of Bulgarian giants Ludogorets Razgrad, GHANASoccernet.com can exclusively report.

The 22-year-old is currently on the books of Fortuna Dusseldorf after joining on a two-year loan deal from Schalke 04 last summer.

But the player has expressed his desire to depart the club after failing to hit top heights at the club in the just ended campaign.

Tekpetey did not score not provide assist in any of the nine games he played in the Bundesliga as the club suffered demotion to the second-tier league.

Reports reaching GHANASoccernet.com indicate that he could soon find himself wearing Ludogorets Razgrad's green jersey.

The Bulgarian champions have initiated contact with Schalke 04 and the player's representative and hope to tie the deal before the commencement of their pre-season training.

Tekpetey will be hoping to rediscover the form he demonstrated during his one season spell at SC Paderborn 07 should the transfer to Ludogorets materialize.

He has two caps for Ghana's senior national team, Black Stars.
