EXCLUSIVE: Dreams FC set to complete massive transfer coup for Ghanaian goalkeeper Razak Abalora
Razak Abalora will join Dreams FC

Goalkeeper Razak Abalora is set to join Dreams FC in a massive transfer coup for the Ghana Premier League side, GHANAsoccernet.com can exclusively report.

Abalora, 24, will join the model Ghanaian club on a permanent contract after ending his stint with Tanzanian giants Azam where he made an impressive 100 appearances in three years.

The former West African Football Academy glovesman ended his stay with the East African giants after a fabolous three-year spell.

The shot-stopper has been left out of Azam squad for the 2020-21 Tanzanian Mainland Premier League.

He is now set to return home and will be unveiled in the coming hours or days after passing a mandatory medical.

This is a massive transfer coup for the Dawu-based side who have strengthened their squad with marquee signing Joseph Esso.

The goalkeeper is the latest high-profile player to join the squad after completing a sensational deal for former Hearts of Oak star Joseph Esso.

The Ghanaian goalkeeper is on his way to Dawu, right from under the noses of giants Asante Kotoko and Hearts of Oak, and that will tickle local fans.

It's a significant deal for the Theatre of Dreams side which has become attractive to several top players in the West African nation.

There have been circling reports about an imminent signing of former Ashantigold and Asante Kotoko target Shafiu Mumuni.

Dreams FC coach Winfred Dormon want to build a crack team following their struggles in the truncated 2019-20 season and they appear to be on a positive ride to turn around their fortunes in the upcoming season.
