EXCLUSIVE: FIFA orders Lebanese club Al-Nejmeh settle $50,000 owed Ghanaian forward Issaka Abudu

Lebanese club Al-Nejmeh Sporting Club have been ordered by FIFA to pay Ghanaian forward Issaka Abudu the amount of $50,000 owed the player, GHANASoccernet.com can exclusively report. 

GHANASoccernet.con can also report that the club's contracts have been frozen until they settle the money owed their former striker.

Issaka Abudu, who currently plays for Saudi Arabian side Al Najran, featured for Al Nejmeh between 2019 to 2020 but the club failed to settle all his financial obligations.

The decision by FIFA has affected the club's activities with the Lebanese league set to commence next week.

Issaka Abudu previously played for CS Hamman Lif, Stade Gebesien, both clubs in Tunisia before leaving to Kuwait to join AL Fahleel.

He later signed for Al Nejmeh where he spent a season ES Metlaoui and Al Kawkab.
