Fortuna Düsseldorf midfielder Nana Ampomah is at the centre of a battle between Belgian rivals Club Brugge and Royal Antwerp, GHANAsoccernet.com can exclusively report.
The 24-year-old has been cleared to leave after struggling to impact since joining last summer.
The Ghana international joined the Bundesliga outfit for a club transfer record of 2.8 million Euros but he failed to cement his place in the team.
Ampomah made just 12 appearances in the Bundesliga and failed to score nor provided an assists during a difficult debut season.
This is in sharp contrast to his 15 goals in 30 appearances for Belgian first division side Waasland-Beveren - which alerted Fortuna Düsseldorf of his immense quality.
GHANAsoccernet.com understands Belgian sides Club Brugge and Royal Antwerp are interested in the midfielder.
The midfielder, who has a contract with the German side until June 22, is toying with the idea of returning to Belgium.
