Published on: 14 December 2017

Hearts of Oak are on the verge of signing former Ebusua Dwarfs defender Francis Morton ahead of the upcoming season, GHANAsoccernet can exclusively report.

The Phobians have made no secret of his desire to beef up their squad in the close season following the departure of four of their key players in the aftermath of last campaign.

And Ghana's leading football website, GHANAsoccernet.com can report that, the continental club masters have opened negotiations with Francis Morton, who has been training with the team midway through last season on the authority of coach Frank Nuttal.

The 25-year-old left back has been without a club since leaving Ebusua Dwarfs two seasons ago but he's keen to re-launch his career with the Phobians in the forthcoming campaign.

The labadi-born defender could be a big asset to the Rainbow club as he could fill in at left back as well as a left winger.
