EXCLUSIVE: Ghana defender Daniel Amartey reappears on Fulham FC wishlist

Published on: 10 January 2020

Ghana defender Daniel Amartey has re-emerged as a transfer target for Fulham FC in the ongoing winter transfer window, GHANAsoccernet.com can exclusively report.

Amartey was heavily reported to be joining the Cottagers during the summer window but the club could not strike a deal with parent club Leicester City.

But it has emerged that Leicester City manager is consigned to losing the versatile Ghana international after failing to play in any competitive game since his return from the horrific ankle injury.

Reports gathered by GHANAsoccernet.com suggest that Fulham are willing to snap up the 25-year-old on an initial loan with the option to make it permanent in the summer.

It could be a fantastic deal by the London-based outfit should they manage to conclude it as the Ghanaian can play anywhere across the defensive line including midfield.

Fulham currently occupy 5th position and manager Scott Parker will be eager to see his side produce more of a challenge for automatic promotion during the second half of the season.
