Ghana defender Daniel Opare suffered a slight injury while in action for Standard Liege in the Belgian Pro League on Saturday evening, GHANAsoccernet.com can confirm. 

Though the details of the injury are quite sketchy as Liege team doctors will perform medical scans to know the extent of the damage done to the Black Stars versatile full-back.

The former Real Madrid Castilla defender was replaced in the 36th minute by Ronnie Stam after he picked the injury.
