Ghana midfielder Alfred Duncan has popped up on the radar of Genoa ahead of the January transfer window, GHANASoccernet.com.

The 28-year-old is struggling to fit into Vicenzo Italiano's Fiorentina team, forcing him to make a move in the transfer window.

Duncan, who returned from loan at Cagliari in the summer is expected to make another switch in the winter transfer window.

Genoa have identified the Ghana international as a perfect fit for the club, who are planning on making reinforcements in January.

The ex-Inter Milan player moved to Florence after an excellent stint with Sassuolo but has since been plagued with injuries and fitness problems.

Dunacn has made 10 appearances for La Viola in the ongoing campaign.

He previously played for Livorno, Sampdoria and Inter Milan.
