Black Stars ace Daniel-Kofi Kyereh is set to join Bundesliga outfit Freiburg in the summer transfer window, GHANASoccernet.com can exclusively report.
The 26-year-old met with the officials of the German topflight side as they begin talks over a possible transfer ahead of next season.
Kyereh was St Pauli's key player in the Bundesliga II, netting 12 goals and providing 10 assists but it was not enough to earn them promotion.
GHANASoccernet.com can report that the player is set to make a move as the Boy in Brown struggle to keep him off potential suitors.
"The fact is: He still has a contract with us until 2023. The fact is: I'm planning with him. The fact is: He feels very comfortable with us,” explains Timo Schultz to SportBild in an earlier interview.
"But I've been in the business long enough and I know that there are always bigger and more solvent clubs that also buy players from us," he continued.
“Of course we also discussed the expiring contracts within the squad. I think you have to be professional enough to get away from the situation. We want to get maximum success. Everything else will hopefully be clarified as soon as possible.”
