Ghana midfielder Rabiu Mohammed is on the verge of signing for Russia Premier League outfit FC Tambov, GHANASoccernet.com can exclusively confirm.
Mohammed is currently a free-agent after departing French Ligue 2 side Paris FC last month.
Reports gathered by Ghana's biggest football website indicate that the 30-year-old midfielder is closing on a move to Russian elite side FC Tambov.
The Wolves are said to have finalized personal terms with the player and it's now left with lanky enforcer to undergo a mandatory medical test before putting pen to paper.
FC Tambov would become Mohammed's fourth club in the Russian Premier League having represented Kuban Krasnodar, Anzhi Makhachkala and Krylia Sovetov.
The former Liberty Professionals star made 14 appearances and netted 1 goal for Paris FC before the campaign was truncated due to the Coronavirus crisis.
He amassed 31 caps for the Ghana Black Stars.
