Ghana forward Raphael Dwamena will be making his debut for Austrian side FC Blau-Weiß Linz on Sunday when they travel to Wacker Insbruck, GHANASoccernet.com can exclusively report.

The 26-year-old makes a return to league action despite doctors advice to stay away from the game due to heart problems.

Dwamena is in BW Linz's squad for the trip to Insbruck and he is expected to feature for the Eertse Liga outfit.

The ex-Levante forward has been twice diagnosed with a defect around his heart and was told he stop playing football by medics.

However, Dwamena has defied all odds making a return to the game after joining BW Linz in the summer transfer window, having trialed at the club for weeks.

He first suffered the problem while on loan at Real Zaragoza during his time with Levante in the La Liga.

Due to the condition he had to mutually agree contract termination with the Spanish club before later moving to Velje in Denmark.

In Denmark, he relaunched his career but later on he was asked to stay off following another heart problem.
