EXCLUSIVE: Ghana youth defender Patrick Asmah joins Serie A side Atalanta on four-year deal
Ghana youth international Patrick Asmah has signed a four-year contract with Italian Serie A side Atalanta, GHANASoccernet.com can exclusively reveal.
The 2015 FIFA U20 World Cup star has been transferred from lower division side Accra United FC.
He joins thin list of Ghanaian players to move from a local club to a major European league.
Asmah, 18, spent last season on loan at BA United for first team experience and it was there he caught the eyes of the Ghana U20 handlers.
His defensive qualities and overall performance earned him a place in the Ghana U23 team which played at the 2015 All Games in Brazzaville, Congo.
